With just one day to go until ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ throws open its doors, the rumour mill is going into overdrive about which famous faces will be taking part, with ‘Coronation Street’ legend Ken Morley the latest star tipped to make an appearance.
The Sun have reported that Ken, best known for playing Reg Holdsworth for six years in ‘Corrie’, will be one of 12 celebrities taking part in the new series, which kicks off on Wednesday night.
Previous ‘Corrie’ stars to have taken ‘CBB’ by storm include Julie Goodyear, who made quite a splash during her time in the house in 2012, and on-screen duo Bruce Jones and Vicky Entwistle, who entered the house together the following year.
The newspaper have also claimed that Cami Li – ex-fiancée of Kirk Norcross – is potentially among the new batch of housemates, alongside ‘Loose Women’ star Nadia Sawalha and soul legend Alexander O’Neal, neither of whom have been rumoured so far.
Other celebs rumoured to be entering the famous compound tomorrow include Katie Hopkins, Calum Best and Patsy Kensit.
‘Bit On The Side’ presenter Rylan Clark has teased ‘CBB’ fans with details of the new line-up, refusing to confirm or deny who was entering the house, but telling HuffPost UK: “The rumours that you normally read in the paper, nine times out of ten they’re normally right.
“We don’t know what these people are going to be like until we put them all in a room together. And believe me, on paper – some of these people might even have previous with each other, without even knowing that the other one was going in!”
